Last weekend I did a very large purge of my twitter stream. I went from following 4,000 to 0 in about 5 minutes using this handy little tool.
I’ve slowly started re-following people, up to about 750 now. It’ll take time to check everyone out, because believe it or not, I check their stream and usually their website too before I decide to follow or not.

If you read your news on your ebook reader this could be handy. I probably wouldn’t have a use for it since I’ll just grab my *soon to be ipad* or my iphone w/instapaper-however still seems like a good tool for those that need it.
